ABOUT KELLIE
I’m Dr. Kellie P. Alston—an educator, trainer, author, and instructional designer with nearly 20 years of experience teaching online in a teacher education program. My passion for creating impactful learning experiences began with “teaching” my cousins and stuffed animals, growing into a mission to empower educators and subject matter experts.
My curiosity about how people learn drives my approach to teaching, coaching, and course design. I’ve discovered that when educators strengthen their teaching self-efficacy, students thrive—and so do they. That’s why I founded Virtualgogy, LLC—to help academics and experts master the art of teaching online through coaching, consulting, and course design.

When I’m not working, I enjoy singing, songwriting, reading, watching movies, cooking West African dishes, and spending time with my daughter, Zoe. Kellie Alston doesn’t give grades. She makes you earn them with every ounce of brainpower you have. Prior to being a student in Ms. Alston’s courses, I never knew I had that much brainpower.
